The Kazakh Oncology and Research Institute in the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrated its 50th anniversary with an outstanding meeting on 11-13 November 2010 in Alma-Ata. Prof. Dr. Süleyman Dinçer, the chairman of Hematology Specialist Association of Turkey, and Assist. Prof. Birol Güvenç, also participated at the meeting on behalf of our association.
The first Training meetings which was held on 1-2 June 2010 in cooperation of our association and Azerbaijan Oncology Institute with the opening speech by Yusuf Ziya Özcan, the chairman of the Board of Higher Education (YÖK) has been successfully completed. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Solak, the chairman of the Auditing Board of YÖK also honored the meeting.
